Internet filtering device from Blue Coat of Sunnyvale, California, was used by the Syrian and Myanmar governments to censor their citizens. According to company's spoke person, the appliances were transferred to both Syria and Myanmar illegally. Both Syria and Myanmar are known for serious human-rights violations and are subject to U.S. trade embargoes.
